Windows Clean Up

How does it happen? You start out with a blank computer with a nice sleek look and then one day you look at the screen and you have icons everywhere and it's next to impossible to find anything at all. You are, my friend, in dire need of a good Windows clean up.

You have no doubt seen the icon pop up telling you that there are unused Icons on your desk top but there is a good chance that you just click ignore when it asks if you want to remove them because most people hate the thought of a computer actually taking something away.

There might be something there that you will need.

Then you end up right where you are with a desk top totally full of things, some of which you don't even know what they go to and so it is time for you to do a good Windows clean up. Keep in mind that those unused or forgotten icons all go or went to something on your computer so there is a good chance that just prettying up your visible space won't do a lot for the performance.

Windows clean up will allow you to clean up the things that are going to cause you problems down the line. You know, all of those temporary files that build up and hog the hard drive space from you.

In today's world everyone is also concerned about privacy while on the Internet. There is another side of the Windows clean up. It will allow you to erase the traces of who, what, when and where with regards to the Internet browsing that you have done. This can be a great thing because it will erase the things that can easily be hijacked by a hacker, which can cause identity theft and people stealing your passwords and such things as that.

Taking time to run Windows clean up will save you from leaving little bits and pieces of yourself all over the place for people to find. Maybe you don't want your boss to know where you have been surfing. Maybe it's your spouse that you want to keep in the dark. There are many reasons that it is a good idea to erase those tracks.

You can have the Windows clean up actually securely remove the traces if you want. Not just pull them off but also actually make it impossible for the normal everyday methods of digging to get any of the data recovered. That means that you can rest a little easier knowing that the information that you left behind has not only been removed but it has been securely removed and will not see the light of day again.
