Freeware Registry Cleaner
Assuming you are like me, you are most likely tired of it happening. It seems like every time I power up my computer either
this program or that one is telling me that my subscription has expired. My anti-virus program seems like it wants money from me every couple months – I know it doesn't but it seems that way.
That is one reason that a lot of people, myself included, search out freebies to save our wallet. Granted I wouldn't probably trust some things for free, but things like a
freeware registry cleaner is something I can live with.
I mean what you're going to get is a program that scours all the useless and outdated registry entries on your computer. Any
freeware registry cleaner is
capable of doing that fairly well. They also usually allow you set it up as to how deep into the registry it will go and what it will do when it finds bogus info. I'm a little of a tech freak so I tend to want to know everything that a program is going to do with my PC so I tell it to let me approve everything it does. That way the
freeware registry cleaner can't throw away an entry for something I need.
Now in reality, the chances of the freeware registry cleaner disposing of a
program that is needed is so minute it's not even worth thinking about. So for the majority of the world, you can set it start it and forget it. If you are really concerned you can have it save the things it removes or place them in an area that it can be recovered from in the event of a problem.
The things that you need to be most concerned with is that a lot of the freeware registry cleaner you can get loaded down with things like Spyware and Adware that can end up on your PC.
These programs can latch onto your computer and in no time at all you have a system that is running as slow as molasses or one that has pop ups flipping all over your screen as you attempt to surf the web.
This can be avoided by going to get your freeware registry cleaner, and
any other freeware for that matter, from a site that actually
scans the file first for those things and tells you that the file you are about to download is certified free of such problems. The one site that comes to mind that does this service is download.com, although there are plenty of others that do it now as well.
Freeware registry cleaner programs are great, the price is right and
everyone should have one their computer. It will make life better and your surfing faster and your computer will ultimately thank you for it. SO will your wallet, by the way.
